Our herd at Rancho La Carrera traces its roots to Brangus cattle, carefully developed and refined through state competitions over the past 50 years. We have since incorporated Angus and Balancer genetics to enhance marbling, structure, and overall performance, producing the highest-quality stock.
All our cattle are free-range, grazing on high-yield pastures and natural forage enriched by the minerals and altitude of the Sierra Madre of Sonora. This environment fosters healthier, more resilient cattle with excellent feed conversion.
Cows adapted to the mountains and desert climate pass on hardiness and docility to their calves, while performance Angus bulls contribute superior carcass quality. The result is balanced steers and heifers with premium meat—the foundation of efficient, high-value production.
